  Bath Bathstore got deposit from us with the promise of returning it in 24 days. It took us 4 months to get our money back and we had to go to the store for four times and also called many times. The manager disappeared and no one else helped. Although we were planning to buy from them (we wanted our money back because our project got longer than we thought to start), we are not going to buy from them. Do not give any deposit to them, you will not get it back that easily!

  The sales assistant was really helpful and gave us good advice. Howeve, We paid a £1000 refundable deposit, but after the home survey the whole thing got nasty when we asked for our deposit back as they quoted £8000 for a basic en-suit refit. When we asked for our refunable deposit to be returned, they tried every trick in the book to avoid or delay repayment. We had real fears we would never see the money again. They got really nasty, aggressive, rude and turned into hard sales people.
